So apparently this image was taken in 1908 when American President Theodore Roosevelt's Great White Fleet visited Melbourne, then the capital of Australia. The image shows a group of women waving to the visitors as they drive past. The Automobile Club of Victoria offered to take up to 100 officers to Black Spur via Yarra Glen.
