Dr. Ian Deitch (Chiropractor)
Before I could believe it, I had applied to get into chiropractic college and was accepted!
Chiropractic college was an amazing experience. The work load was huge and challenging. Many times throughout the course I wondered why I had chosen to do chiropractic.
Needless to say, after more than 25 years in practice, I can look back and smile. The journey has been fantastic with no regrets. Helping others achieve optimum health and healing is the best job in the world.
This doesn’t just apply to my patients but also to my peers. Over the years I have been a clinician at the School of Chiropractics teaching clinics for student chiropractors. I have taught chiropractic technique for nine years and acted as a final year examiner for the School of Chiropractic.
As a chiropractor I feel responsible for all who visit my clinic. This starts from the moment you call to make an appointment. I have a passion and a mission to help you understand why your spine and nervous system are so important and that not looking after them is just plain madness.
Chiropractor & Health Coach
I take the role of not only being your chiropractor but also your health coach!
I encourage parents to get their children’s spines checked and if need be adjusted so that they can develop into healthy individuals and not suffer from day to day conditions. I get a real buzz from having my elderly patients come in and tell me that they can’t do this or that because of some problem they have and then to see them several weeks to months later getting back into gardening, walking, playing with their grand-children or whatever takes their fancy. Being a chiropractor is so much more than just getting people out of pain.
I believe that offering my patients an exceptional service is important. This was rewarded by winning the Australian Achiever Award in Health in 1989/90.
I am married to a beautiful lady called Lisa. Lisa is amazing in that firstly she married me and secondly is my best friend. I have had her unconditional support through thick and thin. We have four children Luke, Rachel, Campbell and Jonathon. The older three have all finished school and our youngest, Jonathon, is in high school. In my free time I enjoy scuba diving, camping, hiking, cycling, reading, movies, entertaining and being beaten by Jonathon at video games.
My family and I get adjusted twice a week, I run to keep fit and now also go for walks with my German Shepherd and a Japanese Spitz x Pomeranian.
